Irwin and Colton have been engaged to recruit an Interim Health & Safety Manager for a well-established organisation providing essential services across the UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead health and safety initiatives within a business committed to fostering a proactive and forward-thinking safety culture.

Responsibilities of the Interim Health & Safety Manager include:

  • Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation.

  • Leading health and safety programmes and conducting risk assessments and audits.

  • Managing incident reporting, analysis, and implementing corrective actions.

  • Delivering training and collaborating with stakeholders to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Producing performance reports and providing insights to senior management.

The successful Interim Health and Safety Manager will have:

  • A recognised qualification such as NEBOSH Diploma, NCRQ Diploma, or equivalent.

  • A strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation.

  • At least five years of experience in health and safety management.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
