London | £45,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance | Excellent Benefits
Irwin & Colton has been engaged to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor by a specialist construction company who operate on bespoke refurbishment projects in London and surrounding areas. The organisation have a turnover of over £50 million, and are looking at expanding the health and safety team due to company growth.
Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor will include:
- Engaging across the sites, implementing health and safety policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and developing contractors
- Assist with training, toolbox talks, inductions and investigating incidents where required
- Assisting with audits and inspections of the site, identifying areas for improvement and reporting on the findings
The successful Health & Safety Advisor will have:
- experience in a similar role ideally from within construction or related industry
- NEBOSH or NCRQ Certificate
- Excellent communications skills and ability to work well with a wide range of people
- Drive and enthusiasm with the ability to promote a positive Health and Safety culture
