Sustainability Programme Manager
Coventry OR Home Based | Circa £45,000 + Car Allowance and Excellent Benefits
We have been engaged by one of Europe's largest hard services and external maintenance organisations to appoint a Sustainability Programme Manager. This position will be joining a team, and requires a self-starter who can work effectively with stakeholders, to drive and improve the sustainability agenda. Passion for sustainability is the number one priority for this position!
This position can be based out of their office in Coventry, or from home, with occasional travel to UK wide sites.
Responsibilities of the Sustainability Programme Manager will include:
- Improve sustainability awareness across the business, by engaging with employees of all levels, and providing training where needed
- Assist on developing the sustainability agenda, with a large focus on understanding their carbon footprint, to achieve the company's carbon neutrality goal
- Gather industry relevant information on all things environment and sustainability, to assist in attaining the B Corp accreditation
- Constantly scan for areas of improvement, providing constructive advice and feedback
The successful Sustainability Programme Manager will have:
- Demonstrable sustainability experience, ideally within the facilities, construction, civil engineering or related sector
- Qualified in an appropriate environmental discipline, and ideally have experience working on carbon related initiatives
- Experience with B Corp accreditation would be an advantage
- A passion for excellence, and an ambition to grow and develop a career within the environmental space
