The role supports the Head of Health and Safety in coverage across 11 marina sites in the South of England, all with unique operational environments, offering plenty of opportunity to drive real improvements in health and safety performance.
Responsibilities of the Regional Health and Safety Advisor will include:
- Championing a positive health and safety culture across multiple sites.
- Ensuring accurate maintenance of health and safety records, reports, and documentation in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- Liaising with regulatory authorities such as HSE, Fire Service and the Police.
- Collaborating with the health and safety team to develop and implement initiatives that enhance workplace safety and support continuous improvement.
The successful Regional Health and Safety Advisor will have:
- Proven experience in a similar health and safety role. Experience within heavy industries would be beneficial but not essential.
- NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent with the ambition to pursue continuous professional development.
- A proactive, enthusiastic approach to health and safety, driven by a strong personal initiative and a passion for improving safety culture.
