HSE Manager
Circa £400 Per Day (Inside IR35)

3-6 Month Duration (potential for extension)
Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a leading UK food wholesaler to recruit a HSE Manager. The organisation supplies more than 10,000 food, drink and catering supply products to thousands of customers in all walks of life from hotels to schools and universities.
This particular role will be to support the development of H&S systems in a new depot and work with the site management team to develop safety culture and ensure best practice is implemented.
Responsibilities of the HSE Manager include:
- Developing risk assessments for workplace transport and key activities
- Supporting with incident investigations and coaching the management team on investigation techniques and root cause analysis
- Support with contractor management and permits
- Establish local processes from company standards and embed with management team
The successful HSE Manager will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role ideally working within a logistics, transport, warehousing or manufacturing environment
- NEBOSH Certificate
- Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging a wide range of stakeholders
- A keen eye for detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential
