Health, Safety and Environment Manager | High Wycombe | £45-£55K + Benefits
Are you ready to lead Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives in a busy engineering environment while shaping safety culture across the site?

If so, this Health, Safety and Environment Manager role could be the perfect fit. This is a hands-on, site-based leadership role where you'll manage the HSE Management System, champion safety culture, and support operational excellence.
What can you expect in this role?:
- Lead and mentor the on-site HSE team, develop HSE training, and engage staff to foster a strong safety culture.
- Maintain and monitor HSE systems to meet legal requirements, ISO standards, and company procedures.
- Oversee detailed risk assessments, investigate incidents, and ensure RIDDOR reporting where required.
- Chair the HSE Committee, collaborate with operations, and represent the organisation with regulators such as HSE and the Environment Agency.
- Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste, fire safety, and other environmental initiatives to ensure compliance.

- Work in a dynamic manufacturing/engineering environment, gaining experience across health, safety, and environmental disciplines.
What we're looking for:
- NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum (or equivalent). Environmental qualification desirable.
- Relevant experience managing HSE in manufacturing or engineering environments.
- Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
- Ability to engage and motivate people at all levels, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A hands-on approach and a can do attitude.
