We're supporting an industry-leading commercial real estate organisation to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor, responsible for supporting on the strategic safety delivery across diverse business units. This role offers a clear development pathway toward a senior health and safety management position within a forward-thinking company committed to excellence and continuous improvement.
The successful Health and Safety Advisor will:
- Support on the implementation and ongoing development of the company's Health & Safety Management System aligned with ISO 45001 principles.
- Provide advice and support to operational teams to ensure compliance with UK health and safety legislation.
- Conduct health and safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, identifying root causes and recommending preventative measures.
- Support and develop health & safety training, communication campaigns, and safety initiatives to promote best practices throughout the organisation.
The successful candidate will have:
- NEBOSH General Certificate / Equivalent
- Practical understanding of UK Health and Safety legislation and statutory compliance experience in a corporate or property environment.
- Strong communication with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments, with experience managing safety systems and compliance processes.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with a focus on continuous improvement and development.
