This is a business that invests heavily in its people, champions development, and is dedicated to building a positive, proactive safety culture across all its sites. You'll be part of the wider HSE function within the group, while taking ownership day-to-day for health, safety and environment on their Bristol site.
In this hands-on role, you'll work closely with the site leadership and engineering teams, engaging and influencing colleagues across an industrial environment to drive improvements and embed best practice.
Responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will include:
- Promoting a positive health and safety culture across the site, seeking best practice at every opportunity
- Advising site teams to help them meet company standards and procedures
- Supporting the ongoing review and improvement of management systems in line with company policy
- Involvment with site inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and drive continuous improvement
The successful Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role ideally within an industrial setting, manufacturing environment, or a related industry
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent level 3 qualification
- Experience/knowledge of the ISO management systems
- Strong communication skills with experience engaging colleagues at all levels
