We're working with a leading organisation in sustainable manufacturing and recycling to recruit a Health, Safety and Environment Advisor for their flagship facility in Warwick. This site is a key part of the company's commitment to environmental responsibility, using advanced technology to process materials in a safe and sustainable way.
Key responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will include:
- Supporting the delivery of health, safety and environment initiatives across a busy industrial site
- Assisting with training sessions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings for staff and contractors
- Helping to maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and ensuring audit readiness
- Working closely with the site team to ensure compliance with legal and company requirements
The successful Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will have:
- A NEBOSH General Certificate or be actively working towards it, WAMITAB or experience in the waste sector would be beneficial but not essential
- Previous experience in a waste, manufacturing, or similar high-risk environment
- A practical and collaborative approach, with strong communication skills
