Health and Safety Manager
Location: Dartford, Kent (on site Monday-Friday)
Salary: Up to £55,000 plus Benefits
Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a leading Facilities Management organisation, who are looking to bring onboard a new Health and Safety Manager. The organisation provides maintenance and engineering services to a broad portfolio of renowned client within both public and private sector, such as education, healthcare, and commercial organisations.
Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Manager will include:
- Engaging with stakeholders across the organisation to assist and drive a positive culture
- Day-to-day support on the management of ISO-system 45001
- Engaging with site contractors on a regular basis and ensuring they are compliant to company policy
- Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions to drive performance improvements
- Managing administrative tasks and collection of data once tasks have been completed and revealing the findings to improve performance
The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (and relevant IOSH membership)
- Proven experience in a similar health and safety role; ideally Property / hard Facilities Management
- Proven experience working with Management systems (45001/14001)
- A pragmatic approach to safety and the ability to engage and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
- Happy to be based site-based 5 days per week
