Health and Safety Training Manager
Home-based with National Travel
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 plus Car Allowance and Excellent Benefits

We're pleased to have been engaged by a national retailer and services provider to recruit a Health and Safety Training Manager. The organisation are leaders in their field with circa 800 sites and 5000 employees spanning the length and breadth of the UK. This role will report to the Head of Health and Safety.

Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Training Manager include:

  • Designing comprehensive health and safety training programs tailored to the specific needs of different departments and job roles within the organisation.
  • Working closely with the Learning & Development team to deliver regular training sessions to educate employees on safe work practices, emergency procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Organising and planning training courses for both individuals and teams across the organisation
  • Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on health and safety-related issues, including risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety equipment.

The successful Health and Safety Training Manager will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar training role within health and safety, ideally within property, retail, education or a similar environment
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (as minimum)
  • Experience delivering IOSH courses (Desirable)
  • PTLLS or Level 3 Award in Education and Training (Desirable)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all business levels, specifically in presenting
