Health and Safety Advisor
Crawley, West Sussex (site-based 5 days/week)
Up to £50,000 Plus Excellent Benefits
We're delighted to be working with one of the UK's largest transportation hubs for the aviation industry as they are looking to bring onboard a new Health and Safety Advisor, which would focus on the entire commercial/mixed-use real estate to the site, as well as crossover with other business units, such as aerodrome, engineering, and customer operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a unique area to continue the development of their health and safety journey.
Responsibilities for the Health and Safety Advisor will include:
- Supporting the implementation of the health and safety strategy across the business.
- Develop and lead new initiatives in order to reach the health and safety goals of different business units.
- Continual management and improvements of ISO-accreditation 45001, as well as auditing and improving where necessary, relative to outcome
- Acting as one of the points of contact with key stakeholders and communicating new ideas across a range of business units.
- Ensuring the delivery of the health and safety policy, and compliance with legislation and regulations across a variety of different areas.
The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within aerodrome/aviation, facilities management, property, or related field, with expertise in health and safety compliance and delivering these different objectives.
- NEHOSH diploma (equivalent) and relevant IOSH membership
- Excellent communications skills with proven experience engaging a range of stakeholders.
- A strong technical knowledge of implementing / managing ISO system 45001.
