Environment Sustainability and Quality Manager
Home Based Role with Regular Travel

Irwin and Colton are pleased to announce we have been engaged by one the of the UK's leading energy companies, to recruit a Sustainability, Environment and Quality Manager. This position will lead on the sustainability strategy, as well as management systems, to ensure the company are successfully working towards their targets. This is an excellent opportunity within a leading organisation, and working closely with senior stakeholders across the business
Responsibilities of the Environment, Sustainability and Quality Manager will include:
- Support strategy development and drive this forward across projects and the group, influencing decision making and best practice
- Ensuring the implementation and establishment of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 management systems
- Report on carbon measurements and ensure that carbon reduction plans are being implemented
- Act as a main point of contact for the environmental sustainability program with key stakeholders including clients, contractors and regulators
The successful Environment, Sustainability and Quality Manager requires:
- Demonstrable environmental, sustainability and quality experience, ideally within Construction, Civil engineering, or related industry
- Proven knowledge of ISO management systems
- Ideally hold a professional membership with a recognised environmental body (IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM)
- A passion for excellence, and an ambition to grow and develop a career within the environmental space
The role will involve the communication of ideas throughout the organisation, the ability to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders is essential. This is an exciting opportunity to lead in environment and sustainability, and effect real change through forward thinking schemes. The position will include travel, a valid UK driving license is required.
