Expectations of you:
- To work closely with the EH&S Manager to provide vital support and expert advice to operational teams, supervisors, and managers on all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) matters.
- You'll take the lead in managing and monitoring EH&S management systems, ensuring they're clear, concise, and fully maintained
- Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste processes and promote safety awareness across the organization.
- Coordinate EH&S training and support risk assessors to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Conduct internal audits, manage first aid and fire safety reps, and recommend safety controls like PPE.
- Investigate incidents, report findings, and conduct health and safety inspections.
What we are looking for:
- Practical experience in manufacturing and strong knowledge of EH&S legislation.
- NEBOSH qualification and ability to write clear, concise reports.
- Experience implementing and updating EH&S policies, with a track record of advising managers.
- Proven ability to drive a safety culture and proficiency in using MS Office
