Case Study: Security-Cleared Safety Expertise

Posted on 29 September 2025

Background

A key player in the defence and nuclear sector required urgent contract HSE support across a multi-billion-pound infrastructure upgrade.

The programme demanded security-cleared professionals to lead governance, conduct statutory inspections, and oversee contractor compliance across high-risk construction zones.

The Challenge

The client required multiple security-cleared HSE professionals with extensive experience in major infrastructure, spanning nuclear, defence, and civil engineering, to be deployed rapidly.

Roles included HSE Managers and Advisors focused on governance, assurance, contractor management, and utilities.

The Solution

We placed four immediately available, security-cleared contractors with major project experience who:

  1. Delivered site audits and compliance reviews

  2. Led statutory inspections and contractor oversight

  3. Supported governance and stakeholder engagement

The Results

Strengthened Site Safety Governance: Contractors led assurance processes and improved oversight across complex infrastructure works

Improved Risk Visibility and Reporting: Regular audits and investigations increased transparency and proactive issue resolution.

Contractor Compliance: RAMS reviews, inspections, and stakeholder engagement drove higher standards across multiple contractors
