Senior Sustainability Consultant
Birmingham (Hybrid work pattern - 3 days office / 2 days WFH)
Salary circa £50,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits
Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a major, global real estate firm, to recruit a Senior Sustainability Consultant. The company are leaders in their field and deliver projects across a number of sectors, working with leading global organisations. This role will involve working with clients from design phase through to construction, to help clients' achieve their sustainability targets.
This is a unique opportunity that doesn't come along too often!
Responsibilities for the Senior Sustainability Consultant will include:
Working closely with a diverse client base to develop sustainability initiatives, in line with their objectives and their ESG commitments
Working closely with key stakeholders from design phase through to construction, producing Energy Strategies for new and existing buildings, as well as ensuring the sustainability agenda is embedded throughout each project at every stage
Writing, reviewing and delivering policies and procedures to ensure environmental best practice is implemented
Constantly scan for areas of improvement, looking to provide suitable solutions
The successful Senior Sustainability Consultant will have:
Proven experience in a similar role ideally within property, development, construction or related field
Qualified in an appropriate sustainability or environmental discipline, with experience in design, and ideally BREEAM and LCA
Ideally hold a professional membership with a recognised environmental body (IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM)
Excellent communications skills with proven experience engaging a wide range of stakeholders
