Senior Sustainability Advisor - Carbon Reduction Projects

We are pleased to announce Irwin and Colton have been engaged by one of the world's leading infrastructure and civil engineering construction companies to recruit a new Senior Sustainability Advisor to work on Carbon reduction projects. The company has global revenues of over €19 billion annually and is currently engaged on some of the largest and most exciting infrastructure projects in Europe.

This position will report into the Director of Environment and Sustainability and is an excellent opportunity to join the existing Sustainability team and further develop your career.

Responsibilities for the Senior Sustainability Advisor will include:

• Supporting the environmental and sustainability agenda by carrying out lifecycle embodied carbon analyses (LCA)
• Deliver ambitious low-carbon design goals on embodied carbon and circular economy.
• Ensuring best practice is shared across the business and project at all levels

• Act as a main point of contact for sustainability program with key stakeholders including clients, contractors and regulators

The successful Senior Sustainability Advisor will have:

• Experience in a similar role ideally within the construction or wider built environment
• Ideally a degree in a relevant Environmental related subject
• Familiarity of Lice Cycle Assessments (LCA), Environment Management Systems (ISO14001, ISO 14044), Carbon Foot printing and PAS 2080.
• Excellent communications skills with proven experience engaging a range of stakeholders
