Senior Health, Safety and Environment Advisor
Location: Nottingham
Salary: Circa £45,000 Plus Excellent Benefits
We're pleased to have been engaged to recruit a Senior Health, Safety and Environment Advisor
for one of the UK's leading specialist engineering and manufacturer for the Rail industry. This position is specifically responsible for a manufacturing and engineering facility in Nottingham with occasional travel to additional sites. This position will play an important role in promoting a positive Health and Safety culture.
Responsibilities of the Senior Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will include:
- Promoting a positive Health and Safety culture across the site, seeking best practice at every opportunity
- Assisting in documenting and investigating incidents in the workplace
- Auditing, inspecting and reporting on Health, Safety and Environment performance across the sites
- Engaging with members of staff at all levels across the site to improve awareness and commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental issues.
The successful Senior Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing, rail, industrial or related environment
- NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) and membership of IOSH
- IEMA or NEBOSH Environmental Certificate or equivalent (desirable)
- Ideally experience with ISO 45001 and 14001
- Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging with colleagues at all levels
