Senior Fire Safety Advisor
Location: London
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 plus Excellent Benefits
Irwin and Colton has been engaged by The University of the Arts London to lead on the recruitment for an exciting Senior Fire Safety Advisor position. The University is widely recognized as one of the most prestigious art schools globally and operates across an incredibly varied estate. This role will report to the Director of Health and Safety and work closely with the wider Health and Safety team.
Responsibilities of the Senior Health and Safety Advisor will include:
- Engaging internally to share best practice and ideas, constantly assessing opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Promote a positive fire and health and safety culture in the workplace
- Deliver a range of services including fire risk assessments, investigations, inspections and training as required across the site
- Managing contracted services across multiple facilities
The successful Senior Fire Safety Advisor will have:
- Diploma in Fire Safety or working towards a Diploma (Essential)
- Proven fire safety experience ideally within a higher education background or a similar, extensive estate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of managing a diverse range of stakeholders
