What can you expect in this role?

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and subject-matter expertise to build a strong health and safety culture across the sites in Hoddesdon, Bradford, Wolverhampton & Salisbury.
  • Ensure the site's compliance with UK health and safety legislation while supporting the broader UK health and safety strategy.
  • Engage with staff at all levels to raise awareness and drive a commitment to health and safety.
  • Oversee regular audits and inspections, assessing performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Work with key internal and external stakeholders including contractors, regulators, and enforcement agencies.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar Health and Safety role, ideally within a logistics, warehousing, or distribution environment.
  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and IOSH membership (or working towards) preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to health and safety.
