Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Systems Specialist
Manchester with travel to two other sites and occasional travel across EMEA
Hybrid Position - £40,000 - £45,000 Plus Excellent Benefits

We're pleased to be engaged by a leader in the waste and recycling industry, to recruit a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Systems Specialist. The HSEQ Systems Specialist will support the site operations across the business and work closely with the Head of SHEQ to achieve this. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional who is looking to develop their career further with a leader in the industry.
Responsibilities for the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Systems Specialist will include:
- Promoting a positive Health and Safety culture across the sites, seeking best practice at every opportunity
- Supporting site teams to help them meet company standards and procedures
- Regularly visiting sites, auditing health and safety performance
- Supporting on the development and improvement of the ISO management systems 9001, 14001 and 45001
The successful Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Systems Specialist will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role within waste, environmental services or a related industry
- NEBOSH certificate or equivalent and ideally membership of a relevant professional body (i.e. IOSH)
- The ability to influence and engage with all levels of the organisation
- An enthusiastic and positive approach to health and safety
