Irwin and Colton has been engaged on a new opportunity to recruit for a well-established housing organisation that has over 16,000 properties across the UK. The position they are looking to bring onboard is a new Health and Safety Manager to integrate with the wider Safety team to drive a positive, customer focussed health and safety strategy.
Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Manager will include:
Contributing to the development and consolidation of customer focussed Safety across the portfolio
Contribute guidance on Fire Safety and Environmental issues faced by the organisation
Visiting various sites across the South of England to ensure the team are conducting relevant accident investigations reporting, inspections, and answering any health and safety related queries raised
Ensuring the team are accurately analysing and reporting on health and safety performance and communicating this across the organisation
The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:
NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and relevant membership of IOSH
Proven health and safety experience within the wider property space, ideally within housing/residential or facilities management
Good communications skills and a positive and pragmatic attitude to problem solving within Health and Safety
The candidate must have a driving licence and happy with travel across the South on a regular basis
