Health and Safety Coordinator
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: Circa £34,000 plus Benefits
Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a Large Commercial Property Organisation that also provides support and staffing solutions to the Healthcare sector, and they are looking to recruit a Health and Safety Coordinator. The organisation are renowned within the industry and have over 180,000 members across the UK. This role will be reporting to the Health, Safety and Facilities Manager.
Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Coordinator will include:
- Implementing health and safety policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
- Assisting with adherence to ISO management systems
- Ensuring all risk assessments at corporate offices are up to date and reviewed as required
- Conducting investigations, and report on significant incidents and claims.
The successful Health and Safety Coordinator will have:
- Proven experience in Health and Safety ideally within Property, Facilities Management or a similar environment
- A critical eye for detail and excellent analytical skills
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Excellent communications skills with proven experience engaging a wide range of stakeholders in a corporate environment
