Health and Safety Advisor
Location: Cumbria (Hybrid / Regional travel)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

Working as part of a professional team, you'll help clients maintain high standards, drive positive safety culture, and ensure compliance across their operations.
Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor will include:
- Conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, identifying hazards and recommending proportionate solutions.
- Developing, reviewing, and implementing health and safety policies, procedures, and management systems for client sites.
- Delivering toolbox talks, inductions, and tailored training sessions to client teams.
- Providing clear, practical advice to managers and employees, promoting a positive safety culture.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure legislative compliance.
The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have:
- NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent qualification such as IOSH or NVQ in Health & Safety).
- Experience within a consultancy or client-facing health and safety role, or from a related technical environment such as construction, manufacturing, or engineering.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage and influence at all levels.
- A practical, hands-on approach and a genuine passion for improving safety performance.
