Energy and Sustainability Consultant - Building Design
Bermondsey, London (Hybrid working)
Salary circa £60,000 + Excellent Benefits
Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a global M&E design and sustainability consultancy firm, to recruit an Energy and Sustainability Consultant. The company work on a variety of M&E projects, from commercial and residential builds, to data centres and rail. This position will involve working closely with these clients, to provide energy-efficient and sustainable solutions right from design stage, to ensure they are implemented from the start.

Responsibilities for the Energy and Sustainability Consultant will include:
Working closely with a diverse client base, understanding their goals to provide options and accurately advise on developing low energy and sustainable solutions
Presenting solutions and advise to a range of stakeholders from clients to engineers, with varying levels of knowledge in the space
Undertaking Energy and Thermal Modelling, working with sub-consultants to achieve this
Writing, reviewing and delivering Energy and Sustainability Statements
The successful Energy and Sustainability Consultant will have:
Proven experience in a similar role ideally from M&E, building services or Consultancy
Qualified in an appropriate sustainability discipline, ideally holding an energy assessor qualification (non-domestic and/or domestic)
Understanding of Building Regulations Part L, and ideally experience with BREEAM
Excellent communications skills with proven experience engaging a wide range of stakeholders
