Assistant Sustainability Advisor

We are pleased to announce Irwin and Colton has been engaged by one of the UK's leading technical construction companies, to recruit a new Assistant Sustainability Advisor. The position will involve working closely with the Head of ESG and Sustainability on a variety of projects, to assist with audits, compliance and strategy, and other sustainability assessments such as BREEAM.

Key responsibilities of the Assistant Sustainability Advisor will include:
Working with the team to collate and manage sustainability data, analysing the findings.
Working closely with site teams to ensure best practice, and helping them achieve sustainability objects and targets related to their projects, such as achieving BREEAM certifications.
Carrying out site inspections and audits, undertake preliminary environmental assessments and provide environmental training as required.
Monitor environment performance of all works, looking for opportunities to drive improvements.
The successful Assistant Sustainability Advisor requires:
Hold an Environmental or Sustainability related degree.
Practical experience from internships or employment an advantage, but not essential.
A keen interest in building a career in Environment and Sustainability.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
