Sustainability Reporting Advisor

Circa £35,000, plus car, plus benefits
We've been engaged by one the of the UK's leading energy companies, to recruit a Sustainability Reporting Advisor. This new position will form part of the team focused on driving the company's sustainability strategy forward, with a particular focus on carbon reduction, working in close collaboration with the senior management team across the business.
Responsibilities for the Sustainability Reporting Advisor will include:
- Working with the team to collate and manage environmental and sustainability data (eg. Energy, carbon) and analyse the findings
- Reporting on the data collection findings and working with the team to identify the trends and presenting these when required to management/stakeholders.
- Keeping the business and senior management team up to date on the latest developments across sustainability, carbon reduction and ESG
- Ensuring various divisions within the Group have implemented and are continuing to work on strategy for Carbon reduction
- Assist in sustainability target setting and help to integrate sustainability into business decisions across the organisation
The successful Sustainability Reporting Advisor will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role across environment, sustainability,
- A positive and enthusiastic approach, with excellent written and verbal communications skills
- A related degree (or equivalent) and membership of a relevant membership bodies
- Experience reporting on key environment and sustainability metrics
- Experience in the support or submission of initiatives, such as CDP, GRESB, ESOS, GHG Protocol, Science-Based Targets, Net Zero Carbon or similar would be advantageous
