Senior SHEQ Advisor
Manchester | Circa £57,000 + Car/Car Allowance
We're supporting a leading design and build contractor in the water sector to recruit a Senior SHEQ Advisor, supporting project delivery across the UU region. Reporting into the SHEQ Framework Manager, you'll work closely with project teams and clients to strengthen assurance, leadership and performance.
The successful Senior SHEQ Advisor will:
- Provide senior-level SHEQ advice, driving a proactive, high-performing safety culture across projects and teams
- Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures, management systems and risk controls
- Plan and facilitate SHEQ assurance activity, including audits, inspections and compliance checks
- Lead and support incident/accident investigations, ensuring robust corrective actions and learning
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation, CDM Regulations, HSE guidance and statutory requirements
- Proven construction sector experience, confident engaging and influencing at all levels
- NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)
- Experience with externally certified management systems
