We are seeking an experienced Interim Head of Health, Safety & Training to drive the safety culture and develop comprehensive training strategies across our client's organisation. This pivotal role involves leading safety policies, managing risk assessments, and fostering continuous improvement in health and safety standards.
The successful candidate will:
- Develop, implement, and review health, safety, and training policies within a food manufacturing environment, ensuring they align with organisational objectives and industry requirements.
- Lead the design and delivery of safety and competence training programmes across all levels.
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, company standards, and food manufacturing requirements.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through leadership and engagement with staff and contractors.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant health and safety qualifications such as a Nebosh Diploma.
- Proven health and safety experience working within a food manufacturing company or food production environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
