Rate: £300-350 per day inside IR35

We are supporting a leading specialist utilities contractor in recruiting an experienced Health and Safety Manager. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to drive safety excellence and operational success across the South East region.
Responsibilities of the Interim Health and Safety Manager will include:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive HSE strategies across various projects.
- Ensuring compliance with UK safety legislation, ISO standards, and environmental regulations.
- Conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations to proactively manage risks.
- Promoting continuous improvement initiatives to embed safety protocols.
- Delivering engaging HSE training to maintain high employee competency and safety awareness.
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience managing HSE in construction, utilities, or water sectors.
- NEBOSH certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of UK safety legislation, ISO standards, and audit processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to influence teams effectively.
