Health and Safety Manager - 3-6 Month Contract
Rate: £400 per day (Outside IR35)
Location: Hayes, UK
We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to oversee all EH&S responsibilities at a key site near Heathrow. This role involves ensuring compliance with legislation, fostering a safety-first culture, and driving continuous improvement in safety standards across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain robust safety and environmental management systems aligned with corporate standards.
Lead and coordinate site safety meetings, audits, risk assessments, and operational safety initiatives.
Support the implementation of hazard identification, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with fire safety, hazardous substances, noise, and other legislative requirements.
Provide expert guidance to operations on safety best practices and legislative updates.
The ideal candidate will have:
NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent); further leadership and technical qualifications desirable.
Proven experience in health, safety, and environmental management within a manufacturing or production setting.
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Knowledge of ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards, with experience in audit processes being advantageous.
