Interim Health and Safety Advisor (12 Month FTC)
Salary: £42,000-45,000
Location: London & Manchester - REMOTE
We're supporting a well-established organisation to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor to help strengthen site-based assurance and embed a positive safety culture across operations. This is a practical, stakeholder-facing position, suited to someone who can build relationships, influence standards, and support continuous improvement.
The successful Health and Safety Advisor will:
- Provide day-to-day health and safety support across operational activities, working closely with managers and front-line teams
- Lead and participate in workplace inspections, audits, risk assessments and safe system of work reviews
- Support incident reporting and investigations, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented
- Deliver coaching and engagement to promote safe behaviours and compliance with procedures
The successful candidate will have:
- A recognised health and safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent) and strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
- Experience supporting operational teams within a site-based or field-based environment
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
