Irwin and Colton are delighted to be partnering with a globally recognised leader within the live entertainment and events sector to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor to support their operations across Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced organisation, supporting major venues, festivals and touring productions while helping to drive a positive and proactive safety culture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the implementation and continuous development of the health and safety management systems across multiple business areas.
- Conducting risk assessments and providing practical, operational health and safety guidance to venue and event teams.
- Carrying out audits, inspections and incident investigations to support the continual improvement initiative.
- Coaching and engaging stakeholders at all levels to promote a strong and positive safety culture.
The successful candidate will have:
- A NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent qualification) and membership of a professional body such as IOSH.
- Previous experience within entertainment, events, hospitality, leisure or other fast-paced operational environments would be advantageous.
- A strong understanding of UK and Irish health and safety legislation, fire safety and emergency planning.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
