Environmental Advisor
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 plus benefits

We're supporting a leading organisation in waste management to appoint an Environmental Advisor. This role offers an exciting opportunity to help shape environmental practices in a dynamic setting, supporting operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
The successful Environmental Advisor will:
- Lead, monitor and report on all environmental management and compliance activities across the site.
- Support the updating and delivery of environmental management documentation and staff awareness training.
- Conduct environmental inspections, audits, and report writing with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Manage permit reporting and liaise with regulators such as the EA and HSE.
- Support external audits and environmental projects, providing expert guidance to operational teams.
The ideal candidate will have:
- IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management (or working towards).
- Experience working in waste management, manufacturing, or chemical environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of environmental legislation, permit regulations, and reporting requirements.
